Police Garden is go..

On Saturday 19th September we installed NZ's first Incredible Edible Police Garden -complete with Pear Tree dedicated to local legend Jim Hopa 'The Ultimate Gentleman'.
In the Police Garden you'll find young fruit trees, grape vines, strawberries and blackcurrants, veges and herbs. Enjoy the new garden space on Talbot St - it's for you.
Thanks to all the volunteers and supporters of Incredible Edible Geraldine, in particular thank you to Constable Thatcher and the Geraldine Police Department, also those who grew/donated plants (Margaret Andrews, Julia Crosson, Thirkettle Nurseries), BIG thanks to The Lions and volunteers on the day, also thank you to Barber Well Drilling, Deer Genetics NZ, TDC for the compost, Geraldine ITM Building Centre, Dave Hendry, Ian Rogers, Trish from the Geraldine Performance & Arts Academy, Geraldine Garden Centre and a special shout out to the Fallon Family for their generous support.
